O doutor Cornel é filósofo, autor, ator, crítico, ativista dos direitos humanos e membro dos Socialistas Democráticos da América. É professor em Princeton. Sua obra caracteriza-se pelo estudo da raça, gênero e classe na sociedade dos Estados Unidos.
